Sharing our stories around hoarding
-An intimate round-table discussion with the people we support
Coming in September 2022!
In September we are hosting an intimate round-table discussion where people we support share their stories. Learn directly from the people themselves how they came to realise they had a hoarding issue and came to understand that they needed help.
Find out what was going on behind those closed doors and how impossible it was. They share their experiences on how hoarding affected their whole life and how help from Community Bees turned those lives around.
This is just a handful of people we have supported in the last few years and it is their real stories. They want to share because by sharing, they know they will help others. If you care about people, if you want to know what is really happening in York, don’t miss this event.
Independent Seller’s Market Cafe
Community Bees runs a Market Cafes at St Crux in York providing affordable food and drink in a friendly, safe space for people who might otherwise feel lonely or socially isolated to come and relax in.
Cafe Markets 2022
Friday 17 June 2022, 9.30am – 4.oopm
Friday 25th June 2022, 9.30am – 4.00pm
There is always someone to talk to who goes out of their way to make everyone feel included and welcome.
Independent sellers can book a table at a Market Cafe to sell their produce and goods, creating a nice enterprise opportunity for them and a stimulating environment for the cafe users. Tables are £25 for a six foot table, £30 for two.
Any money raised by the market is used to provide activities that reduce isolation and loneliness as well as supporting the most disadvantaged people within the community.
